Thanks to the generosity of ate Glo, I've got a new mascara! I'm supposed to order from her a Frederic M mascara but she gave me this Shiseido. And I definitely so love it!

When I was still in high school and college, my mother kept reprimanding me for easily ruining my school shoes. Well, I guess that is still happening until now. The only difference is that she doesn't know that I bought new shoes again just after six months of using my old duty shoes. And she isn't paying for my shoes anymore. I am.. :)

Video-Oke Bonding

It started with me singing along with Ate Glo's ringing tone when her husband called. We were eating at Lapaz Batchoy, a restaurant famous for its batchoy noodles. No, they don't cook pork if you will ask. Rain said, facing Ate Glo, "Ate, she wants videoke". And there, all was set, Friday, 10th of August, we will go to Ate Glo's flat at Al Eidy, the housing for couples who are employed in our hospital.

Friday came. Ate Wilma, my housemate and me cooked pansit bijon and gulaman to be brought at Ate Glo's flat. We rode the hospital's bus going roundtrip from our housing area to Al Eidy. We were greeted by the aroma of the foods that Kuya Ed, Ate Glo's loving husband cooked.

Ate Glo's house is spotlessly clean, but this is what captured my attention. I so miss this.

Of course, before the videoke, we have to eat first. Haleer, it's almost 1 o'clock and all I had is a glass of tea and two slices of bread in the morning and my tummy is rumbling.

What we had is a feast.

After Kuya Ed installed everything, we're ready to rock the whole Al-Eidy! :)

Because there are two microphones, we decided to have a "contest" between the two "bagets" and the two "forgets" as Ate Glo and Ate Wilma puts it. Whatever score the other team will get, the other will try to beat it.

After almost a month of long wait after taking my exam , re: http://iameenah.blogspot.com/2012/07/verdict.html, I finally got my Saudi Council Professional ID!

Except for my photo and the numbers and letters written in English, I cannot understand anything!

Too bad I cannot use my midwifery license here.. :(

On Off Duties and Chips

Being alone for a day or two in a condominium-type room is quite boring. And to kill my day, watching   movies or koreanovela while munching chips and/or nuts would be my resort.

Pringles + Barbican + Almond nuts  while watching "Protect the Boss" = Solved! :)

Yeah, I play scrabble too.. Too bad  my FB friends whom I invited to play with me doesn't accept my invitations. The result: Playing randomly with unknown players.
